Michael EdisonMichael Edison is a chemical engineer with over 50 years of experience in process development, product development and technical services.

A specialist in materials for restoration and preservation of concrete, stone and masonry, with extensive experience in historic restoration projects and esthetic repairs, his Company has participated in some 100,000 restoration projects throughout the United States and Canada, and a few farther from home.

He has written, spoken and organized educational programs designed to share technical knowledge and improve the quality of restoration work.

An MBA/Entrepreneur, he built his specialty products manufacturing company from a bootstrap start-up in 1980.

Specialties include:
Stone repair, terra cotta restoration, masonry mortars, decorative and waterproof coatings, adhesives, traditional masonry materials, natural cement, building limes, stone strengtheners and consolidants, mineral coatings, anti-graffiti coatings, weatherproofing treatments, custom color and color technology.

He is President of the Society for the Preservation of Historic Cements, Inc., a 501c(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to historic preservation education.

He is Chairman of ASTM Task Group C1.10.04 on Natural Cement, which successfully reinstated and maintains ASTM C10 Specification for Natural Cement.

He was elected to the Board of Directors of the Woodridge Lake Property Owners Association in 2019 and to its Presidency in 2024.
